Even If the Power Is Turned On, the [Scan/Stop] Button Does Not Light Up in Blue

Causes and solutions for the [Scan/Stop] button not lighting in blue even if the power is turned on are explained below.
Cause

The remaining battery power of the ScanSnap may have reached zero.

Solution

Charge the battery by connecting the ScanSnap to a computer or the optional USB power adapter via the supplied USB cable.

ATTENTION

If the ScanSnap is connected to a computer that does not have a ScanSnap driver installed via a USB cable, a window about an unknown driver may appear depending on the operating system of your computer. If the ScanSnap is connected just for charging, the driver does not need to be installed.
