The Wireless Access Point That Is Intended for Connection Is Not Shown in the List

Causes and solutions for when the wireless access point that is intended for connection is not shown in the list during the ScanSnap Cloud application setup are explained below.
Cause

The issue may be caused by the following:

  • The wireless access point is turned off.

  • A 5 GHz SSID is used.

  • The privacy separator function of the wireless access point is enabled.

    Depending on the wireless access point such as a mobile router, the privacy separator function of the wireless access point may be enabled.

Solution
  • When the wireless access point is turned off

    Turn the power on.

  • When a 5 GHz SSID is used

    Use a 2.4 GHz SSID.

  • When the privacy separator function of the wireless access point is enabled

    Disable the function.

    If you cannot change the setting, contact the manufacturer.

    To check whether the wireless access point is equipped with a privacy separator function or to check how to configure the settings, refer to your wireless access point manual.

If the problem persists, turn the ScanSnap off and turn it back on, and then set it up from the beginning.

If the problem still persists, select [Enter directly] and set it up.
