ScanSnap Cloud Settings Window ([Scan settings] Tab)

In this window, you can change the settings for scanning a document with the ScanSnap, such as the storage destination, file format, color mode, and image quality for a scanned image.

The ScanSnap Cloud settings window ([Scan settings] tab) consists of the following items:

[Configure save destination for each document type] checkbox

Selecting this checkbox allows you to specify a cloud storage service for each document type (document, business card, receipt, and photo) and change the scan settings.

Clearing this checkbox saves all scanned images in the same cloud storage service regardless of the document type.

ATTENTION

In the following cases, document types may not be detected correctly:

  • Documents with many decorated characters

    Example: Embossed or outlined characters

  • Documents with characters on a patterned or colored background

Example: Characters overlapping illustrations and diagrams

  • Documents with characters that are located near illustrations or lines

  • Documents with a few characters

  • Documents that are faded or dirty

If the document type is not detected correctly, change the document type of the scanned image.

For details, refer to Transferring a Scanned Image to Another Cloud Storage Service.
