How to Use the ScanSnap Help

The ScanSnap Help is a manual to be referred to when you use a ScanSnap and ScanSnap Home.

This page explains how to use the ScanSnap Help in order to obtain the information you need.

1. Configure the ScanSnap model and the OS that you are using

Configure the ScanSnap model and the OS that you are using in [Model] and [Operating System] on the top window of the ScanSnap Help to refer to the information according to your system environment.

2. Search for the information you need

You can search for the information you need with the following two ways.

Search for the desired topic through the menu from the category icon.

Click a category icon on the top window to display the menu for each category.

Topic titles are displayed in the menu.

This category describes the method to connect the ScanSnap to a computer or mobile device via Wi-Fi, and the method to change the settings related to Wi-Fi.


This category describes troubles that may occur when you use the ScanSnap and ScanSnap Home, and the troubleshooting methods for such troubles.


This category describes the methods for daily and regular care and for replacing consumables.

Search for a desired topic with keywords

Enter the keyword in the search bar that is located in the top of each topic, and click Search to display the topic titles in the search results.

AND Search

When you enter multiple keywords with a space between each word, the pages containing all the keywords that you entered are searched for.

Perfect Match Search

When the entered keywords are enclosed in double quotation marks, the pages containing all the keywords as a phrase are searched for.
