A "The specified folder is in an unsupported format." Message Is Displayed
If a "The specified folder is in an unsupported format." message is displayed when you add or change profiles in ScanSnap Home, check the following:
Are the NAS and network storage configured as save destinations compatible with SMB/CIFS protocols?
When saving scanned images directly from the ScanSnap to a network folder, you can only specify network folders compatible with SMB/CIFS protocols.
Specify a network folder that is accessible with a path in the following formats:
Shared folder with a path in the UNC format
Example: \\Servername\folder
Network folder with a path starting with "smb://"
