Causes and solutions for when an e-mail with the confirmation code or for resetting the password is garbled when creating a ScanSnap Cloud service account are explained in this section.
Cause

If you use Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7 to view e-mail with the destination domain of "@outlook.jp", the e-mail shows garbled characters.

Solution

It is recommended to configure settings on the latest version of Internet Explorer.

If you cannot use the latest version of Internet Explorer, perform the following:

  1. In Internet Explorer, select [Tools] [Internet Options] [General] tab and click the [Accessibility] button.

    The [Accessibility] window appears.

  2. Select the [Ignore font styles specified on webpages] checkbox.

  3. Click the [OK] button.

    The [Accessibility] window is closed.

  4. Click the [OK] button.

    The [Internet Options] window is closed.
