Charging Capacity Is Low

If the charging capacity is low while the firmware is being updated during the ScanSnap Cloud application setup, use the following procedure to perform the setup again:

  1. Select [Discontinue] to end the setup.

  2. Charge the battery.

    Connect a USB cable to the USB connector of the ScanSnap and the USB port of the computer that is turned on. Battery charging starts.

    During battery charging, the battery indicator lights up in orange.

    When battery charging is complete, the battery indicator lights up in blue.

  3. After the battery is charged, start over the setup.

ATTENTION

To proceed with the setup, the battery needs to be fully charged.

Therefore, it is recommended that you perform the setup with a USB cable connected to the power source.

If the battery is not fully charged, [Battery shortage] may appear when the battery is being charged.
