Inaccessible to the Network (The Wireless Access Point Is Wrong)

Causes and solutions for when the device is inaccessible to the network (wrong wireless access point) during the ScanSnap Cloud application setup are explained below.
Cause

The wireless access point that is set for the ScanSnap is different from the one that is set for the mobile device.

Solution

Set the same wireless access point for the ScanSnap and the mobile device.

  • When a wireless access point that is set for the ScanSnap is wrong

Select [Reconfigure ScanSnap], and then set up the ScanSnap from the beginning.

  • When a wireless access point that is set for the mobile device is wrong

Select [Reconfigure the mobile device], and then reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings for the mobile device.

ATTENTION
  • If more than one wireless access point is available, make sure you do not select another SSID by mistake.

  • One wireless access point may have more than one SSID (multi-SSID function), depending on the type. In this case, select the network name that is called basic SSID, main SSID, or owner SSID. Do not select the network name that is called the guest SSID or WEP SSID. To check whether the wireless access point is equipped with a multi-SSID function, refer to your wireless access point manual.
