Text on an Image Is Not Recognized Correctly

If text on an image is not recognized correctly when a searchable PDF file is created via the ScanSnap Cloud service, perform the following to change the language setting:
  1. Tap Navigation Menu on the main screen.

  2. Tap [Settings].

  3. Tap [Scan settings].

  4. Tap a document type or [Detailed setting].

  5. Tap [File format].

  6. Tap [Target language] and set the same language as the one used for the document instead of setting [Auto].

A saved image can be converted to a searchable PDF file again by performing the following:

  1. Tap the image in the scan history list to open the details screen.

  2. Tap Button for Creating a Searchable PDF on the bottom left.
