The Text on an Image Is Not Readable

Causes and solutions for the text on a photo image not being readable when the ScanSnap Cloud application is used are explained below.
Cause

The issue may be caused by the following:

  • Your hands shook while taking a photo.

  • The background removal function removed characters that are light in color.

  • The distance between the document and the camera was too far.

Solution

  • When your hands shook while taking a photo

    Stabilize the camera to prevent your hands from shaking and take a photo.

  • When the background removal function removed characters that are light in color

    Perform the following to change the background removal settings:

    1. In the [List of photos] screen, tap the relevant data.

    2. Tap Background Removal Icon.

    3. Tap [Background removal (Low)] or [No removal].

  • When the distance between the document and the camera was too far

    Take a photo of the document by moving the camera as close to the document as possible.
