Adding or Changing a Wireless Access Point for the ScanSnap Cloud Service

You can add or change a wireless access point that is used for the ScanSnap Cloud service.

For example, if you set up at the wireless access point at work after setting up at the wireless access point at home, perform the following procedure:

iOS, Android

  1. Start the ScanSnap Cloud application.
  2. Tap Home on the main screen.

    The navigation bar appears.

  3. Tap [Settings].

    The [Settings] screen appears.

  4. Tap [Add wireless access point/router].

    The [Add wireless access point/router] screen appears.

  5. Select a ScanSnap scanner that you add a wireless access point to.

    The [Add wireless access point/router] screen appears.

  6. Enter the password for your ScanSnap account.
  7. Tap [Authenticate].

    The [Scanner settings] screen appears.

  8. Tap [Add wireless access point/router].

    For the subsequent steps, refer to Setting up with ScanSnap iX100 and a Mobile Device.

HINT

To change the wireless access point to another wireless access point on the same network, turn off the ScanSnap, and then perform the above procedure.

Windows

  1. Connect a computer to the wireless access point that you intend to add.
  2. Start the ScanSnap Cloud application.
  3. From the menu bar, click [Tool] → [Options].

    The ScanSnap Cloud settings window appears.

  4. Click the [Change] button for [Network] in the [Scanner] tab.

    A message appears.

  5. Connect the ScanSnap to a computer with a USB cable.
  6. Click the [Next] button.

    Follow the instructions on the window to complete the subsequent setting process.

    When the setting process is complete, a wireless access point is set to the ScanSnap.

Mac OS

  1. Connect a computer to the wireless access point that you intend to add.
  2. Start the ScanSnap Cloud application.
  3. From the menu bar, click [ScanSnap Cloud] → [Preferences].

    The ScanSnap Cloud settings window appears.

  4. Click the [Change] button for [Network] in the [Scanner] tab.

    A message appears.

  5. Connect the ScanSnap to a computer with a USB cable.
  6. Click the [Next] button.

    Follow the instructions on the window to complete the subsequent setting process.

    When the setting process is complete, a wireless access point is set to the ScanSnap.
