Checking the Network Settings

You can check the network settings ([Terminal name], [IP address], and [Receive option]) of the mobile device.
  1. Tap Network Button on the [File List] screen or do the same thing on the folder screen with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on.

    The [Network] screen appears.

  2. Check [Terminal name], [IP address], and [Receive option].

    [Terminal name] displays the name of the mobile device that you are using.

    [IP address] displays the IP address of the mobile device that you are using.

    [Receive option] displays whether the function to receive files from the computer, iX1600, iX1500, iX1300, iX500, or iX100 is turned on/off.

ATTENTION

If the IP address does not appear, it indicates that the mobile device is not connected to the network.

Check if the network setting of the mobile device is configured correctly.

Also check if there is any problem with the network environment.

HINT

The appearance of Network Button changes according to the status of the connection with the computer, iX1600, iX1500, iX1300, iX500, iX100, and the network.

Network Button indicates that the mobile device is connected to the computer, iX1600, iX1500, iX1300, iX500, or iX100.

Network Button indicates that the mobile device is connected to the network, but not connected to the computer, iX1600, iX1500, iX1300, iX500, or iX100.

Network Button indicates that the mobile device is not connected to the network.
