Paper jam occurred. Open the ADF top section and remove the document.

Cause

The issue may be caused by the following:

  • Paper jam occurred inside iX1300 or iX500.

  • You tried to scan a long page document (a document longer than the standard size).

Solution

Perform the following:

  • Open the ADF top section of iX1300 or iX500 to remove the document remaining in the ADF.

  • You cannot scan a long page document with ScanSnap Connect Application.

    If you use ScanSnap Manager on your computer, scan a long page document with ScanSnap Manager. You can receive the file or download the file to your mobile device in the following procedure.

    • Use Scan to Mobile to receive the file

    • Use the ScanSnap Sync function to download the file that is saved in ScanSnap Organizer
