Initialization

You can configure settings related to the initialization of ScanSnap Connect Application.

To make the initialization effective, restart ScanSnap Connect Application after configuring the settings.

By default, it is set to [None].

The following items can be configured:

  • None

    No initialization is performed.

  • Configuration only

    Initializes the following information:

    • ScanSnap Connect Application preferences

    • Profiles

    • The [Auto power off] settings in the [ScanSnap Information] window

    • [ScanSnap Sync Setting]

  • File list only

    Initializes the following information:

    • The received file or the downloaded file

    • [ScanSnap Sync Setting]

  • Data in the Files app

    Initializes files saved in the Files app.

  • All information

    Initializes the following information:

    • ScanSnap Connect Application preferences

    • Profiles

    • The received file or the downloaded file

    • Computer Details that have been connected (computer name and so on)

    • The [Auto power off] settings in the [ScanSnap Information] window

    • [ScanSnap Sync Setting]

ATTENTION

  • When the ScanSnap Sync function is set to on, if you select [Configuration only], [File list only] or [All information] in the settings and initialize the information, the sync with a cloud service is disabled. Enable the sync with a cloud service after the initialization.

  • When the ScanSnap Sync function is set to on, if you enable [File list only] or [All information], files and folders are deleted from the file list but they are not deleted from the cloud service.

HINT

Once the initialization is complete, the setting will return to [None].
