Deleting Multiple Files and Folders at Once

The procedure to delete multiple files and folders at once is as follows.
  1. Tap the [Edit] button on the [File List] screen or do the same thing on the folder screen with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on.

A checkbox appears next to the file name and folder name.

  2. Tap each checkbox for each file and folder to be deleted.

    The checkboxes are selected.

  3. Tap Trash Button.
When the ScanSnap Sync function is set to on

A message appears confirming whether to delete a file or folder, and if so, which device you want to delete them from. If you want to delete a file or folder on the cloud service that is synced to all devices, tap the [Delete from all devices] button. If you only want to delete a file or folder on a mobile device that you are using, tap the [Delete from this device] button.

    HINT
    • When an Internet connection is not established or when no file is uploaded, the [Delete from all devices] button does not appear. The button will appear after you establish an Internet connection or upload a file.

    • If no files have been downloaded from a cloud service, the [Delete from this device] button does not appear. The button will appear after you download a file.

When the ScanSnap Sync function is set to off

The selected files are deleted from the [File List] screen.

ATTENTION
  • A folder appears only when the ScanSnap Sync function is set to on.

  • If you delete a folder, all folders and files that are inside of that folder are also deleted.

  • Do not close the application while deleting a file or folder. Doing so may slow down the next startup because the [File List] screen or the folder screen with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on takes time to reload.
