Sending the File to Another Application (the [File List] Screen or the Folder Screen with the ScanSnap Sync Function Set to On)

In the [File List] screen or in the folder screen with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on, you can select an application for the file to be sent to.

The file can be sent to a communication application such as e-mail software.

Select the application in the following procedure.

  1. Touch and hold the file that you want to open with another application on the [File List] screen or do the same thing on the folder screen with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on.

    A menu for the [File List] screen or for the folder screen with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on appears.

  2. Tap [Send].

    A list of applications appears.

    ATTENTION

    If an error message appears because no application is available, install a communication application such as e-mail software in your mobile device.

  3. Select an application from the list.

    The application starts, and displays the file.

ATTENTION

  • Use the [Send] function to create a new folder and save a copy of the selected file in it.

    The copied file is then sent to the application.

  • Note that files copied by the [Send] function are not deleted automatically.

    They can be deleted on [Preferences] of ScanSnap Connect Application.
