Changing the Startup Mode for iX1300

By changing the startup mode, you can set an action that will be performed by the ScanSnap after opening the ADF paper chute (cover).

The startup mode can be configured in the [ScanSnap Information] screen.

  1. Tap Settings Button on the [File List] screen or do the same thing on the folder screen with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on.

    The [Settings] screen appears.

  2. Tap [ScanSnap Information] in the [Settings] screen.

    The [ScanSnap Information] screen appears.

  3. Select one of the following options for [Startup Mode]

    • Normal

      The ScanSnap is turned on when the ADF paper chute (cover) is opened.

      The ScanSnap is turned off when the ADF paper chute (cover) is closed.

    • Fast

      The ScanSnap is ready to perform a scan immediately after the ADF paper chute (cover) is opened.

      The ScanSnap enters sleep mode when the ADF paper chute (cover) is closed.
