The "The size of the scanned data has exceeded the maximum size." (B11Fg103/B11Fg110) Error Is Displayed

If the "The size of the scanned data has exceeded the maximum size." (B11Fg103/B11Fg110) error is displayed when you are using the ScanSnap, check the following.

Has the size of the image to be sent via an e-mail exceeded the maximum size?

The size of the image to be sent via an e-mail needs to be reduced.

Perform one of the following:

  • Divide the documents into a few batches and then perform a scan multiple times.

  • Change the scan settings to reduce the file size for scanned images, and then scan again.

You can change the scan settings in the following procedure:

  1. Click the [Scan] button at the top of the main window of ScanSnap Home to display the scan window.

    If the main window is not already displayed, refer to To Display the Main Window.

  2. Select the profile that you are using from the profile list.

  3. Click Edit Profiles to display the [Edit profiles] window.

  4. Click the [Detailed settings] button in [Scan settings] to display the [Detailed settings] window.

    Change the following scan settings.

    • Lower the level for [Image quality] in the [Scan] tab.

    • Increase [Compression rate] in the [File size] tab.

  1. Click the [Scan] button at the top of the main window of ScanSnap Home to display the scan window.

    If the main window is not already displayed, click the [ScanSnap Home] icon ScanSnap Home Icon in the application list that appears when you click Launchpad in the Dock.

  2. Select the profile that you are using from the profile list.

  3. Click Edit Profiles to display the [Edit profiles] window.

  4. Click the [Detailed settings] button in [Scan settings] to display the [Detailed settings] window.

    Change the following scan settings.

    • Lower the level for [Image quality] in the [Scan] tab.

    • Increase [Compression rate] in the [File size] tab.
