Using One ScanSnap Unit with Multiple Devices
One ScanSnap unit can be shared by connecting multiple devices such as a computer and mobile device. When a license for ScanSnap Home is activated with a ScanSnap account, you can use a single ScanSnap unit with up to five computers or mobile devices. When a license for ScanSnap Home is activated with a ScanSnap account, you can use one ScanSnap unit with up to five computers.
- When connecting the ScanSnap to a device used by each of the users

- When connecting the ScanSnap to multiple computers or mobile devices
Registering a ScanSnap account allows you to connect a single ScanSnap unit to multiple computers or mobile devices in order to share the ScanSnap.

When a license for ScanSnap Home is activated with a ScanSnap account, you can use a single ScanSnap unit with up to five computers or mobile devices.

For a computer
Sign in to ScanSnap Home with a ScanSnap account.

For a mobile device
Log in to ScanSnap Cloud with a ScanSnap account.

To connect the ScanSnap and a computer via Wi-Fi, the computer needs to be registered on the ScanSnap by using ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool.
You can register only one computer on the ScanSnap.
To change a computer (that is connected to the ScanSnap) to another computer, change the registered computer by using ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool.
