Software Licenses Allowed for One ScanSnap Unit
Software licenses are the licenses that are activated to use ScanSnap Home.
Connecting the ScanSnap to a computer automatically activates a license so that ScanSnap Home is available to be used.
Four licenses are allowed for one ScanSnap unit, so that multiple users can share the ScanSnap. In addition, licenses can be added by purchasing an additional license.
Up to 30 profiles can be managed with the ScanSnap. When [All users] is set for [Display of profiles] in the [Settings] screen on the touch panel, the total number of profiles created with all computers connected to the ScanSnap must be within 30.
One license is allowed for one ScanSnap unit. Licenses can be added by purchasing an additional license.
The body of the ScanSnap may vary in color depending on the region where you purchased the ScanSnap.
Also, when you register a ScanSnap account and use the account to activate the license, you can use the ScanSnap with up to five computers or mobile devices under one license.

When the ScanSnap is connected to a computer that multiple user accounts are set in, a license needs to be activated for each user account to use the ScanSnap. This means that the ScanSnap can be used with the same number of user accounts as licenses available for the ScanSnap.
When a ScanSnap account is used for activating a license, one license can be used with up to five user accounts as long as each user with a user account uses the same ScanSnap account.
