Changing the Title for a Content Data Record

Changing the title for a content data record to be managed with ScanSnap Home.

Windows

  1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

    For details, refer to To Display the Main Window.

  2. Among the buttons for switching the view mode for the content data record list view on the tool bar, select Summary list to switch the view mode for the content data record list view to the summary list.
  3. In the content data record list view, select a content data record for which you want to change the title.
  4. Select [Rename] in the menu that appears when you right-click the content data record.
    HINT
    • When the view mode for the content data record list view is the summary list, you can change the title for the content data record by clicking the title. When the document type of the content data record is [Documents], a list of title suggestions may appear.

  5. Enter a title for the content data record.
  6. Press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.

The title for the content data record is changed.

Mac OS

  1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

    Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon ScanSnap Home Icon in the application list that appears when you click Launchpad in the Dock.

  2. Among the buttons for switching the view mode for the content data record list view on the tool bar, select Summary list or Thumbnail list to switch the view mode for the content data record list view to the summary list or the thumbnail list.
  3. In the content data record list view, select a content data record for which you want to change the title.
  4. Click the content data record while pressing the [control] key on the keyboard, and select [Change the title] from the menu that appears.
    HINT
    • When the view mode for the content data record list view is either the summary list or the thumbnail list, you can change the title for the content data record by clicking the title. When the document type of the content data record is [Documents], a list of title suggestions may appear.

  5. Enter a title for the content data record.
  6. Press the [Return] key on the keyboard.

The title for the content data record is changed.
