Detail View Screen

Tapping a scan history shows the detail view screen in the ScanSnap Cloud application. The detail view screen allows you to check an image in preview, to change the cloud storage service to save an image, and to edit a page of an image.

The detail view screen consists of the following items:

Preview

A scanned image of a scan history that you tap is shown.

Swiping horizontally can move pages that are shown.

File name

Above the preview, a file name of an image that is being shown appears.

By tapping Changing a File Name, you can change the file name. For details, refer to Changing the File Name of a Scanned Image.

Slider for moving pages

The slider for moving pages is shown under the preview.

By moving the slider to the left or right, you can move pages.

You can show or hide the preview by tapping it.

[Edit] button

Tapping this shows the Editing Screen.

This item is shown when all the following conditions are met:

  • The cloud storage service currently specified for the document type of the displayed image is Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Evernote, or Box.

  • The cloud storage service currently specified for the document type of the displayed image is the same as when the document was scanned.

  • The displayed image is not a photo image of a document that was taken with the ScanSnap Cloud application's camera function.

Button for converting to a searchable PDF file

Tap this button to convert to a searchable PDF file.

This item is shown when all the following conditions are met:

  • [Convert to Searchable PDF] is set to on in the [File format] screen.

  • The cloud storage service currently specified for the document type of the displayed image is the same as when the document was scanned.

  • The cloud storage service currently specified for the document type of the displayed image supports searchable PDF files.

Re-release Button

By tapping this button, you can transfer the displayed image to another cloud storage service. For details, refer to Transferring a Scanned Image to Another Cloud Storage Service.

HINT
  • If the [Upload the data manually after scanning] checkbox is selected on the editing profiles window of the ScanSnap Home application, the scanned image is not sent automatically to the cloud storage service.

    Tap this button to send the scanned image to the specified cloud storage service.

  • When sending to a cloud storage service is on hold, "Send to a service is on hold" is displayed in the message field of the scan history list on the main screen.

Transfer Button

By tapping this button, you can transfer the displayed image to another application. For details, refer to Transferring a Scanned Image to Another Application.

Error information

When you display a scan history that has an error, error information is shown.

The title and the summary of an error are shown. If error information is not shown, you can show the summary by tapping [View error information].

[Save again] button

This button appears for a scan history that failed to save a scanned image to a cloud storage service.

Tapping this starts the saving to the cloud storage service again.

[Change doc. type] button

This button appears for a scan history that failed to save a scanned image to a cloud storage service.

If you set [Save by document type] to on in the [Select cloud storage services] screen, this button is shown.

Tap this button to manually sort the image into a document type that is different from the document type automatically selected.

When you scanned a long page document with iX1300, you cannot change the document type of the scanned image.

Tapping this button shows the relevant error page in "ScanSnap Cloud Troubleshooting".
