Updating ScanSnap Firmware

When the ScanSnap firmware update is available for a ScanSnap model that is registered with the ScanSnap Cloud service, update the firmware to the latest version.
  1. Tap Navigation Menu on the main screen.

    A navigation bar appears.

  2. Tap [Settings].

    The [Settings] screen appears.

  3. Tap [Add or remove scanner].

    The [Add or remove scanner] screen appears.

  4. Tap the name of the ScanSnap to update the firmware.

    If the firmware update is available, [New firmware has been released.] is shown under the ScanSnap name.

  5. Tap [Firmware Update].

    To check the latest information on the firmware, tap [Check the updates]. The browser opens, and the latest firmware information is displayed.

  6. Enter the password for your ScanSnap account, and proceed by following the instructions displayed on the screen.
