[Scan settings] Screen

The [Scan settings] screen in the ScanSnap Cloud application allows you to specify the file naming rule for scanned images, detailed settings such as file format and color mode, and the size of the document to be scanned.

The [Scan settings] screen consists of the following items:

Setting by document type (if [Save by document type] is set to on in the [Select cloud storage services] screen)

You can configure the detailed settings by document type.

Tapping a document type shows the Detailed Setting Screen for the document type.

ATTENTION

This is not shown if you do not specify a cloud storage service for the document type in the [Select cloud storage services] screen.

Detailed setting (if [Always save to same service] is set to on in the [Select cloud storage services] screen)

You can configure the detailed settings.

Tapping [Detailed setting] shows the detailed settings screen.

Scanned Document Size Setting

Tapping [Document size] creates a scanned image in the selected document size.

When [Auto] is selected, a scanned image is created with a size equal to the document size.

ATTENTION

If you set [Save by document type] to on in the [Select cloud storage services] screen, a document type is determined based on the selected document size.

HINT

If you take a photo of the document with the camera function, this setting does not work.

Streak reduction

Setting this option to on reduces vertical streaks that do not exist in the document but appear in a scanned image.
