The issue may be caused by the following:

1. Are the rollers or glass inside the ScanSnap dirty? (iX1600/iX1500/iX1300/iX500/iX100)

2. Is there any foreign matter inside the ScanSnap? (iX100)

Perform the following:

1. Clean the Roller Set.

   iX500

   Cleaning the Inside of the ScanSnap (iX500)

2. Perform the following:

   Clear Any Foreign Matter from the Inside of iX100.
