The Password for the Destination Is Unknown.

Cause

The issue may be caused by the following:

  • You have not set a password.

  • You have forgotten the password.

Solution

Perform the following:

  • To connect to a computer running on Windows

    Set up a password from the [Scan to Mobile - Basic] window of Scan to Mobile.

    If you have forgotten the password, there is no way to retrieve it.

    Set up a new password.

  • To connect to a Mac OS

    Set up a password from the [Scan to Mobile - Basic] window of Scan to Mobile.

    If you have forgotten the password, there is no way to retrieve it.

    Set up a new password.

    For details, refer to the ScanSnap Manager Help.

  • To connect to iX500 or iX100

    Set up a password from the [Mobile connection setting] window of ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool.

    If you have forgotten the password, you can confirm it by selecting the [Show password] checkbox.
