Failed to communicate with ScanSnap. Check the status of the ScanSnap, and then try again.

Cause

The issue may be caused by the following:

  • Failed to communicate with iX1600, iX1500, iX1300, iX500, or iX100.

  • The remaining battery power for iX100 ran out.

Solution

Perform the following:

  • After checking that iX1600, iX1500, iX1300, iX500, or iX100 is connected to the same network, try again.

  • Charge iX100, and reconnect it.
