Initialization

You can initialize the information that is saved in ScanSnap Connect Application.
  1. Select the information to initialize in ScanSnap Connect Application.

    A confirmation message appears.

  2. Tap the [OK] button.

    The information selected in step 1 is initialized.

By default, it is set to [None].

The following items can be configured:

  • None

    No initialization is performed.

  • Configuration only

    Initializes the following information:

    • ScanSnap Connect Application preferences

    • Profiles

    • The [Auto power off] settings in the [ScanSnap Information] window

    • [ScanSnap Sync Setting]

  • File list only

    Initializes the following information:

    • The received file or the downloaded file

    • [ScanSnap Sync Setting]

  • All information

    Initializes the following information:

    • ScanSnap Connect Application preferences

    • Profiles

    • The received file or the downloaded file

    • Computer Details that have been connected (computer name and so on)

    • The [Auto power off] settings in the [ScanSnap Information] window

    • [ScanSnap Sync Setting]

ATTENTION
  • When the ScanSnap Sync function is set to on, if you initialize the information, the sync with a cloud service is disabled. Enable the sync with a cloud service after the initialization.

  • When the ScanSnap Sync function is set to on, if you enable [File list only] or [All information], files and folders are deleted from the file list but they are not deleted from the cloud service.

HINT

Once the initialization is complete, the setting will return to [None].
