Overview

ScanSnap Connect Application allows you to organize PDF/JPEG images scanned with the ScanSnap in a mobile device, and perform scanning directly with iX1500, iX500 or iX100 through wireless LAN connection.

With this application, you can receive image data in your mobile device.

In addition, by using the ScanSnap Sync function, you can use the scanned images in ScanSnap Organizer on a computer.

For details about the ScanSnap Sync function, refer to ScanSnap Sync Function.

The image data that is received or downloaded can be sent and viewed in an application that supports PDF/JPEG files.

You can also check the image on the [Preview] screen.

When connecting a mobile device to a computer

To use ScanSnap Connect Application, you need:

  • ScanSnap

  • Scan to Mobile (To be installed in the computer)

  • Wireless LAN

ATTENTION

When you switch an application that you use on the computer from ScanSnap Manager to ScanSnap Home, your mobile device and the computer cannot be connected.

When connecting a mobile device to iX1500

To use ScanSnap Connect Application by connecting a mobile device to iX1500 via wireless LAN, you need the following environments.

  • Access Point Connect mode

    • iX1500

    • Wireless LAN

    Access Point Connect Mode
  • Direct Connect mode

    • iX1500

    • Wireless LAN

    Direct Connect Mode

Configure the wireless settings for iX1500 on the touch panel of iX1500.

When connecting a mobile device to iX500 or iX100

To use ScanSnap Connect Application, you need:

  • Access Point Connect mode

    • iX500 or iX100

    • Wireless LAN

    Access Point Connect Mode
  • Direct Connect mode

    • iX100

    • Wireless LAN

    Direct Connect Mode

Configure the wireless settings for iX500 or iX100 by using the tools or applications on the computer.
