The [Scan] Button Was Lit in Orange during a Scan
Causes and solutions for the [Scan] button lighting in orange during a scan when using the ScanSnap Cloud service are explained below.
- Cause

The issue may be caused by the following:
A document was jammed inside the ScanSnap.
A multifeed was detected.
The ADF top section opened.
A communication error occurred.
- Solution

When a document was jammed inside the ScanSnap
Open the ADF top section and remove the jammed document.

When a multifeed was detected
Open the ADF top section and remove the document inside the ScanSnap.
For details, refer to Overlapped document detected.

When the ADF top section opened
Close the ADF top section.
For details, refer to ADF top section open.

When none of the above applies
A communication error may have occurred between the ScanSnap and the ScanSnap Cloud server. Turn the ScanSnap off and turn it back on, and then scan the document again.
