Affected Software

• Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0L23, V1.0L24, V1.0L26, V1.0L27, V1.0L28
  * V1.0L23 is required for Rack2-Filer Smart to be updated to V1.0L24 or later.
  For V1.0L22 users or users with previous versions (V1.0L10, V1.0L12, V1.0L13, V1.0L14, V1.0L20, V1.0L21, V1.0L22), first apply the V1.0L23 update patch and then this update patch.

You can check the version of Rack2-Filer Smart as follows.
Start Rack2-Filer Smart and select [Help] - [Version Information].

Modifications

The following modifications have been made.

• New version of Dropbox API is supported.
  (Note) After applying this update, your Dropbox storage will need to be selected again.
  For details, refer to FAQ.

Online Update

For V1.0L22 users or users with previous versions:

Perform the online update twice.

1. The first online update applies Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 update (V1.0L23).
   

   Refer to Online Update Procedure (V1.0L23) for how to online update.

2. After running V1.0L23, perform the second online update from [Help] - [Online Update]. It runs this update patch (V1.0L29).
   

   Refer to Online Update Procedure (V1.0L24 or later) for how to online update.

For V1.0L23 or users with later versions:

Perform the online update. It runs this update patch (V1.0L29).

Refer to Online Update Procedure (V1.0L24 or later) for how to online update.

Installing Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 Update (V1.0Lxx) via the Web download.
(If your computer cannot be online updated.)

[Points to be Checked Before Installation]

• Download Rack2Smart V10Lxxwwup.exe (Lxx is the level of the update)
• If a dialog that confirms how to handle the file appears, select [Save].
  *In this case, make a note of the location in which Rack2SmartV10Lxxwwup.exe is saved.
• Copy Rack2SmartV10Lxxwwup.exe to the computer to which the modifications are to be applied.

[Installation]

• Log on to Windows® as a user with Administrators rights (administrative rights for the computer).
• Exit all of the applications before running Rack2SmartV10Lxxwwup.exe.
• Run Rack2SmartV10Lxxwwup.exe.

For V1.0L22 users or users with later versions:

First, download and run Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 Update (V1.0L23).

Then, download and run this update patch (V1.0L29).

For V1.0L23 users or users with later versions:

Download and run this update patch (V1.0L29).

How to verify that update has been correctly installed

• * When installation is complete, Rack2-Filer Smart is updated to V1.0L29.
  Refer to Procedure to Check if the Update is Applied for the procedure to check if it is updated to V1.0L29.
